Previous | Home | NextWe walk up Spandauer Straße from Nikolaikirche, past the Rathaus, to the Heilige Geist Kirche. Notice that the steeple, facing west, is correct for the church at this early date. We will cross the Spree River and pass by the former site of the Stadtschloß and Hofapotheke, which unfortunately no longer exist); instead today we only see the Berlin Dom in this area. [Note: Present plans as of 2008 are to rebuild the Stadtschloß if sufficient funds can be raised].
